Overview
The Department of Radiology at top Cancer Center seeks a Board-Certified or Board-eligible, fellowship-trained Body Imager.
Comprehensive services include Body CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and plain films / fluoroscopy with the majority of fluoroscopy being covered by a dedicated PA.
Call is split equally amongst the body imagers and works out to approximately 4 weeks a year and includes overnight tele-radiology coverage seven days a week including holidays.
Our Body Imaging Department is located on the second floor in the main hospital, is state-of-the-art and staffed by twelve body imagers.
The body imaging team works collaboratively with the surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and pathologists to provide multidisciplinary care to our patients as well as with hospitals outreach programs to increase services within the local community.
Our client is an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center (one of only two in New York State) and a top School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences affiliate, with academic appointments for staff.
PTO and CME offered. Hospital picks up malpractice insurance on behalf of the physician. Nighthawk coverage utilized by facility.
