Job Description

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in a high-volume automated setting under pharmacist supervision.

Manually fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules, verifying size and strength via computer screens.

Replenish medication in automated dispensing cells and perform weekly cycle counts.

Use handheld scanners to track products, check expiration and lot information, and maintain inventory accuracy.

Assist with packing, shipping, and specialty prescription handling following safety standards.

Adhere to federal and state HIPAA laws and pharmacy procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.

Recognize and escalate issues, perform quality checks, and contribute to maintaining workflow efficiency.
