This position is part time (20 hours per week). Ability to cover 3rd shift is a must and ability to also cover 1st and 2nd shift as needed is highly preferred. Our office is located at 440 Hopkinsville St., Greenville KY 42345.

We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the registration of all patients' accessing services with emphasis on patient access / satisfaction, insurance / demographic verification and accuracy, scheduling, and point of service collection, while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism and ethics
• Greet patients
• Coordinate patient flow to reduce wait times
• Assist patients with intake processes
• Collect co-payments, co-insurance and deductibles
• Process walk-in patients and visitors
• Confirms eligibility and verifies insurance benefits
• Ensures all necessary demographic and billing information is obtained for patients and entered in the computer system timely and accurately
• May schedule appointment times using computerized scheduling programs
• Explains financial responsibilities for services received, payment options, and collection procedures to patients and / or parties responsible for payment
• Counsels' patients regarding insurance benefits and recommends alternative sources of payment and / or financial assistance when appropriate
• Accepts payments and co-pays
• Communicates effectively with insurance companies, external agencies, patients, physicians, and team members

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
