POSITION SUMMARY :
Actively participates in all aspects of the research and development process from concept to field deployment. FPGA Design Engineers are responsible for the efficient implementation of novel signal processing algorithms for Our Clients MIMO wireless networking products. In addition, they also participate in the support and development of FPGA-based designs for our advanced wireless systems R&D. These are exciting projects targeted to address challenging real world communication needs. This position is on a hybrid schedule, with a minimum of 3 days on-site per week is expected. On-site days are : Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Duties and Responsibilities
oDigital design architecting for wireless communication projects.
oFixed point design of signal processing blocks while working with systems engineers.
oRTL coding, simulation, and test bench development.
oFPGA synthesis and timing closure.
oHardware verification and troubleshooting; familiarity with logic analyzers.
oProvide support to the RF and Software Engineering Teams.
oAs necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative
Qualifications
o Minimum Education :
oMSEE
o Minimum Experience :
o4+ years of FPGA design experience.
oExperience with fixed point binary arithmetic, and digital signal processing designs.
oExperience with multiple clock-domain, high-utilization FPGA designs.
oExperience with Xilinx FPGAs, SoCs, and the Vivado IDE.
oBasic MATLAB skill is a plus.
oExperience with communication systems on FPGA or ASIC designs a plus.
o Must be a U.S. person
oU.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
oMust be able to successfully clear a background check.

Physical Requirements :
o While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following :
oLift equipment for setup of demos and testing.
oWalking / Moving in the labs.
