Salary : Objective

Objective

The QA Inspector I uses blueprints and testing instructions to ensure accurate and functional assembly.

Essential Functions : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs inspections in accordance with written procedures, engineering drawing and specifications
  • Implements assigned corrective actions and NCMRs
  • Uses conventional and advanced inspection devices to verify dimensions
  • Documents results to Quality Management by entering information in the CRM Database
  • Provides technical quality support to Manufacturing / Engineering / Operations as needed and approved by the Quality Assurance Director
  • Ensures the traceability of components and products are maintained at every inspection point
  • Organizes, files, and maintains all inspection documents
  • Utilizes all documents contained in the Quality System, such as manufacturing procedures, forms, standard operating procedures, and initiate the submission of inspection reports, as appropriate
  • Participates in internal audits

Required Education and Experience to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • 1-year experience inspecting parts or products is required
  • Previous experience developing ways to improve and promote quality is preferred
  • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Office products, primarily Word and Excel is highly preferred
  • Must possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated dependability and reliable attendance is required
