Join the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) within the Leidos Digital Modernization Sector as a Senior Configuration Management Specialist . In this pivotal role, you will support government-critical systems while overseeing the development, integration, delivery, and operations of IT managed services in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with engineering teams, system administrators, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective configuration and change control processes.
- Conduct data analytics to maintain 100% accuracy in agency databases, reflecting the latest developments, updates, and transactions.
- Plan and execute weekly Change Control, Requirement Review, and Engineering Review Boards, coordinating logistics and software license management.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive configuration management plans, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and system consistency.
- Oversee the evaluation, approval, and documentation of changes to systems and applications, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of configuration settings, baselines, and system components for reliability and compliance monitoring.
- Implement and manage advanced configuration management tools such as ServiceNow and Remedy.
- Drive initiatives aimed at automating configuration and change management processes for increased efficiency.
- Regularly monitor configuration data and system performance to identify risks and inconsistencies.
- Create in-depth reports on configuration statuses, changes, and compliance metrics.
- Troubleshoot configuration-related issues swiftly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Assist in the establishment of procedures and processes, providing customer support as necessary.
- Review and analyze production change releases and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure proper implementation and documentation.
- Manage incident ticket data for comprehensive reporting and analytics.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.Extensive experience in Configuration and Change Management.Proficiency with Remedy and ServiceNow platforms.Experience presenting at the executive level (C-Suite, SES, General Officer).Active TS / SCI security clearance required. Must be a U.S. Citizen.Desired Qualifications :

Pay Range : $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
