Courses are in‑person and on‑campus for the Spring 2026 semester (01 / 05 / 2026 – 04 / 26 / 2026).Course : Interface Design II – Web Design
This course focuses on the web design prototyping process including research, wireframes, design comps, and interactive mock‑ups that address a creative brief. Students learn website production, as well as Search Engine Optimization as it applies to design assets. Technology requirement : Students provide their own laptop, mouse, and subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud.

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.Engage students in cutting‑edge technologies and industry trends.Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.What You Will Bring
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in web design, UX / UI design, graphic design, or another related discipline.A master’s degree and 3 or more years’ experience in the design industry is preferred.Skills in User Experience, User Interface Design and an understanding of designing for and working with Content Management Systems such as WordPress are required. The design thinking process and industry knowledge of principles of design, typography, color, brand development, and current trends are expected.Proficiency in Adobe Experience Design, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator is required. Job titles that fit the criteria include Product Designer, UX / UI Designer, and Web Designer.Technical requirements : GCU does not provide software or hardware outside of the campus classrooms.Technical proficiency in the current version of Adobe software products is expected. A portfolio of current work examples is required with the application to teach.
