UC Davis Health School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and innovative Labor and Delivery Hospitalist and / or Generalist to join our Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in the University Womens Health (UWH) division. UC Davis delivers approximately 2,000 babies each year and features a level III NICU, catering to a high-risk obstetric population.
Highlights :
- Schedule : Full and Part time and offers 12 hour shifts or varied shifts through the month
- Call Schedule : Occasional outpatient care; daytime laborist on labor and delivery; obstetric day call; obstetrical night call in-house; at home gynecology call in rotation; and inpatient nighttime hospitalist duties on labor and delivery, including urgent and emergent gynecologic surgery
- Support Team Includes : multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Direct patient care including outpatient services, labor management, and emergency surgeries.
Teaching and supervising residents and medical students in various clinical settings.
