Certified Senior Medical Coder

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate clinical coding from medical records to ensure accurate coding of encounter data

Assist in providing feedback regarding coding and reimbursement while maintaining high coding accuracy

Participate in operational activities and collaborate with various stakeholders to improve coding practices

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

Coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CPC, RHIT, CCS)

2+ years of HCC coding experience

2+ years of experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT, Modifiers & HCPCS coding guidelines

1+ years of experience in medical terminology, disease processes, and anatomy and physiology
