Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / IR Technologist with at least 18 months of experience and dual skills in interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization.

Responsibilities Position based in a short-term acute care hospital

Hybrid Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) role; IR skills required in addition to Cath Lab

Adult patient population

Cerner charting system is used; experience required

Day shifts that typically start between 6 : 30 AM and 7 : 30 AM and run until 5 : 30 PM or 6 : 00 PM

Rotating after-hours call shifts with 10 calls per month and 3-hour call back requirement

Every third weekend coverage is required

All travelers may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals

Must work either Christmas or New Year's; Thanksgiving is guaranteed off

Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Free parking is available on site

Local candidates are accepted

Time-off requests for up to 5 days may be auto-approved

All travelers must be separated from past employment as perm or PRN staff by at least 12 months

Hybrid Cath Lab / IR roles are a hard requirement; both skill sets must be present for consideration

Requirements Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of experience in both Cath Lab and interventional radiology required

Current ARRT (R), ACLS, and BLS certifications are required

ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing education is required for consideration

Cerner EMR experience is required

First-time travelers are accepted

Pending IN or Compact State License accepted; license required if applicable
