Job Details :

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Every other weekend requirement with 2 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Holiday requirement includes working Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving (2 days and 1 evening or 2 evenings and 1 day)
• Patient ratio of 1 : 5 on 48-bed telemetry unit (4A and 4B)
• Float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified
• Navy blue scrubs dress code required
• One shift unit orientation provided
• Self-scheduling used but subject to manager approval for balance
• No call or standby requirements
• Required certifications : ACLS and BLS
• Experience with reading basic telemetry strips required
• Must have experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA and TIA
• Cerner charting system experience recommended
• Care for patients with COVID, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
• Required to interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once per shift
• Work with respiratory equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, high flow, and breathing treatments
• BSN degree not required
