Openwork Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Manager for a travel nursing job in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

OR Nurse Manager

CNOR Required & must have at least 2 years of previous perioperative & surgical management experience. Shift is 8 or 10 hour days, may be required to take call. EMR is Meditech. Must have MA license in hand at time of submission. ACLS required.

Duties of Manager : \nEnsure optimal efficiency in daily flow throughout surgical services\nEvaluate and assess the daily schedule and staffing plan and to make adjustments to clinical assignments if necessary to enhance the overall performance of the department and functioning of the unit.\nEvaluate and respond to changes in the daily schedule in real-time including add-on cases, late running cases, resource allocation, and other situations as they present.\nCollaborate with key stakeholders (anesthesia, surgeons, department chiefs) to balance daily changes while maintaining departmental efficiency, ensuring safe patient care and striving for optimal clinical performance and outcomes.\n\nNeed to be competent for on call for all specialties : \nMust be strong in Ortho trauma\nTotal joints (Hip, Knee, Shoulder, Reverse Shoulders)\nVascular (Fem Pop, AAA, AV fistula, Thrombectomies....)\nGYN - Hysteroscopy, ABD / Vaginal / Lap assisted Hysterectomy, Cystectomy\nGeneral -Lap \nENT (if no eyes its ok to still approve) Peds t&a and tubes\nUrology; Prostatectomy lap vs open, TURP, Stents, Cystos Bariatrics\nSpine (neuro and ortho) No cranies, yes burr hole, subdural hematoma, etc)\nTrauma (No burns, yes gunshot, stabbing, multi-bone trauma)\nNo CV; facility is starting Thoracic but none on call
