you'll play a pivotal role in providing quality care and support to our consumers.
Overview :
- Work as an integral part of the Personal Assistance Services (PAS) Team, helping consumers with essential activities of daily living, including, but not limited to, bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, transfers, medication management, transportation, appointments, etc. for consumers when the agency is in need due to call-off or short-term shift coverage.
- The Floater will be available 5 days per week, with the flexibility to accept shifts as needed to ensure the health and safety of consumers living in a home and community setting.
- The Floater will work closely with the PAS Lead Supervisor regarding availability week to week, as needs for coverage may vary. The PAS Lead Supervisor will provide assignments with as much notice as possible, understanding that call-off needs may be short notice.
- This position will report any concerns related to the consumers or the consumer's home environment to the PAS Lead Supervisor in a timely manner and with detail to ensure that proper actions can be taken if necessary.
- The Full-Time Floater will be compensated $15.30 per hours worked. The Full-Time floater will be compensated at a minimum base rate of $9.50 for up to 20 hours per week. If the Floater is not scheduled for a full 40-hour work week, then up to 20 hours of base pay will be included to help bring the Floater to a full-time schedule. (The Floater will not receive this rate if shifts are offered and turned down during the designated time of availability.)
- This position will be compensated for mileage, at the federal rate of reimbursement while traveling on behalf of the organization. Travel time is not considered part of the 40-hour work week.
