What we are looking for
Amsive is looking for a Manager, Ad Operations & Marketing Analytics to serve as a subject matter expert on tracking strategy and implementation of advertising tags (pixels, server-side, etc.) with attention to client privacy requirements, web analytics tracking, and Google Analytics (GA4). The role involves working directly with clients to understand business goals and translating them into an analytics strategy by identifying key web events and KPIs, and developing / presenting a plan to achieve those goals.
What you will be doing
- Plan, organize, and implement ad tracking strategies and platform-specific tags and pixels.
- Manage tagging and analytics tools such as Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics; identify and assess new tools as needed.
- Solve complex online marketing tagging and tracking needs, either implementing solutions independently or communicating clearly with internal / external development teams.
- Be the lead expert in implementing and customizing GA4 for clients of all sizes.
- QA, test, debug, and troubleshoot event tracking across platforms to ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with Analytics and Data Visualization teams to provide data needed for dashboards in platforms such as Datorama and Looker.
- Analyze client web properties and request data layer changes to meet tracking requirements.
- Use analytics to develop a holistic view of the customer decision journey and inform website experiences that engage and convert.
- Create, review, and optimize internal team processes; own SOPs for the department.
- Assist and advise in implementing and maintaining Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Consent Management Platforms (CMPs).
Who you are
5+ years of hands-on experience with ad tech implementation and strategy across platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, TradeDesk, CallRail, etc.Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.Expert-level understanding of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4).Hands-on experience implementing front-end pixel tracking as well as server-side in production environments.Ability to tailor event triggers in tag platforms to meet privacy requirements such as consent management (HIPAA experience is a plus).Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication, a positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Experience with SQL and Regex is a plus.Must possess individual accountability along with a team-oriented personality.Other Duties : This job description is not a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities and may change at any time with or without notice.
