Must-Have :
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient demographics
- Proficiency in GI oncology nursing
Description :
This position is for a registered nurse in an outpatient clinic setting focused on gastrointestinal oncology.
The nurse will be responsible for providing quality care to adult and geriatric patients.
The role requires skills in cardiac arrest / CPR, starting IVs, and laboratory tests.
Experience with the EPIC documentation system is necessary.
The daily patient visits in this role will be approximately 125.
Preferred certifications include ONS and OCN.
Candidates should possess skills in medication administration, patient teaching, and triage.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to monitor blood glucose levels and perform specimen collection.
Knowledge of antiemetics, infusion therapy, and general surgery is also required.
Two professional references are necessary for consideration.
All candidates must be fully cooperative with credentialing processes.
Travelers must be prepared to complete any required fingerprinting promptly.
