Our Client is seeking a Behavioral Health Aide to work in Los Angeles, CA.

HOURS

  • Long term contracts, Flexible hours available
  • Evening hours and weekend hours available

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

  • Maintains appropriate workplace decorum including adhering to the schedule as outlined.
  • Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning and social skills initially introduced by the teacher or other professional.
  • Assist in the implementation of the IEP for the student and helps monitor progress.
  • Documents student’s daily activities (e.g. behavior, assignment completion, etc.) for the purpose of completing daily logs.

    • CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree (preferred)
  • 2 years experience working with at risk youth.
  • Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.l
  • Must be able to produce current medical / health documents including : physical examination, Tuberculosis / TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
