POSITION / LEVEL : Parking Cashier Attendant FLSA STATUS : Non-Exempt
DEPT / OFFICE : Ancillary Revenue, Parking DATE : November 2025
REPORTS TO : Operations Manager
JOB SUMMARY :
The Cashier Parking Attendant is responsible for providing courteous and efficient service to customers entering and exiting parking facilities. This position handles cash and electronic payments, issues receipts or validations, maintains accurate records of transactions, and ensures the smooth flow of vehicles within the parking area. The role requires strong attention to detail, honesty, and excellent customer service skills.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior cashiering or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience in parking operations, hospitality, or a related field is an asset.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.Collect parking fees and issue receipts for cash, credit / debit, or validation transactions.Accurately record all transactions in the point-of-sale (POS) or parking system.Balance the cash drawer and prepare shift reports at the end of each shift.Monitor vehicle entry and exit to ensure compliance with parking rules and rates.Provide information regarding parking rates, facility rules, and nearby locations.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the booth, cashier area, and adjacent surroundings.Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or suspicious activity to management.Assist with traffic direction and lot organization as needed.Follow all company policies, cash handling procedures, and customer service standards.IMPORTANT JOB FUNCTIONS :

Knowledge of :
Basic math and cash-handling accuracy.Ability to operate POS terminals, ticket machines, and related equipment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Skill in :
