Senior Support Engineer (Tier 3)

Job Summary
Our Managed Services department seeks a Senior Support Engineer to provide support for small to mid-size businesses. As a senior lead, you will recommend solutions, elevate issues, and implement technologies across Infrastructure, Domain Services, Network, Firewalls, VPN, Backup, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Remote tools, and more. You will also lead implementation projects for these solutions.
Your Role
- Oversee and administer client network servers and infrastructure remotely and onsite.
- Implement and migrate new services (P2P, P2V, V2V, SharePoint, Azure, cybersecurity solutions).
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software / hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, and reconfigurations.
- Anticipate, mitigate, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on servers and network infrastructure.
- Support Microsoft technologies : Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Linux, Google Workspace.
- Perform disaster recovery functions for client systems.
- Maintain network health, performance, and security for client networks.
- Work with product and sales teams to interpret customer requirements and deliver solutions.
- Respond to Level I and Level II technician inquiries and escalations.
- Monitor performance and maintain security of networks, and handle multiple hardware / software platforms.
- Respond to remote monitoring and management alerts, and resolve via service tickets.
- Manage network asset inventory and documentation.
- Conduct audits of client information systems and assess controls and security measures.
- Maintain internal infrastructure and solutions, including local datacenter.
- Research emerging products, protocols, and standards.
- Ensure data integrity and security during transfers.
- Perform network and security audits.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog relative to customer needs.

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 7+ years in Managed Services.
Advanced Professional IT Certifications (Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Hyper-V, CSSP, CISM, CISSP, CSSA, CompTIA A+, Project+, Network+, VCP).Project implementation experience as lead on 5+ migrations : Server / Cloud, Firewall / Network, Email, File to Cloud, Active Directory / Domain Services, Cyber Security implementations, new business applications, consultative roles, advanced troubleshooting, multi-tasking, resource matching.Service awareness of all key IT services supported.Self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-moving environment.Who We Are
