Overview

Our client is seeking an Editorial Content Developer to create clear, accurate, long-form content for customer-facing help centers and internal knowledge bases. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments, enjoys working independently, and can manage multiple content projects while maintaining precision and editorial quality.

Type : Freelance, 40 hrs / week, (1–2 year contract)

Start : October 2025

Location : Remote (U.S.-based, PT / West Coast preferred)

Compensation : Up to $42 / hr DOE

Note : This role is for editorial and technical documentation professionals only. Candidates with marketing, blog, UX / UI, or training content experience alone will not be considered.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Draft and edit post-sale, post-onboarding content such as FAQs, how-to guides, and product documentation
• Collaborate with product managers, SMEs, legal, and localization teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with style guides
• Manage content projects from discovery and research through peer / stakeholder review, localization, and publishing
• Use CMS and project tools like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Zendesk Guide, JIRA, and Smartling
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise) strategically to maintain quality and efficiency
• Maintain consistent voice, clarity, and usability for both customer self-service and internal agent support content
