Patient Escort (part-time, 3P-7P M-F)

Nemours is seeking a part-time (3P-7P) Patient Escort to join our Nemours Children's Hospital team in Wilmington, DE.

This position is a part-time position, providing Patient Escort services to patients and their families Monday through Friday, 3:00PM-7:00PM. The Patient Escorts support patients and their families, and the medical team, by transporting patients to and from their inpatient room, for appointment and procedures in the hospital. The Patient Escort will also support patients and their families at the time of discharge, helping them with transport to the exit of the hospital. The Patient Escorts will help escort family members around the hospital as requested and will make deliveries to patient rooms as requested and available. The Patient Escort team works along with the Patient and Family Services Welcome Desk team to provide a safe and welcoming experience. This includes cleaning and restocking wheelchairs and wagons.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Great attitude and customer service experience!
