Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' respiratory status, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.

You will also be responsible for conducting diagnostic tests, monitoring patients' vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.

In addition to these duties, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to asthma and cystic fibrosis.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field

Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (optional)

Ability to lift 50 pounds and push / pull heavy equipment
