Responsibilities :
- Monitor inventory for appropriate minimum / maximum re-order values with consideration for fluctuating market demands, clinical usage trends and seasonal impact to ensure inventory availability.
- Manage back-orders and out of stocks in accordance with the departmental policy and procedures.
- Analyze inventory usage (turns) to increase inventory turnover and reduce / eliminate stock with usage not meeting shelf value criteria.
- Review daily re-orders of automated re-supply process to ensure all transactions with identified vendors occurred. Ensure corrective actions are taken as required including expediting shipment of product.
- Assist with addressing recall notices in a timely manner and ensure proper communication occurs according to the appropriate policy and procedure.
- Expedite invoicing for payment by Accounts Payable in ongoing and timely manner.
- Assist with year-end inventory process and warehouse preparation.
Qualifications :
High school degree or equivalent required.At least one year of related inventory control or supply chain experience required.Prior experience with data inquiry, data entry and P.C. operations. Requires sound math and inquisitive skills resolving system[s] and inventory related issues.Ability to analyze, compose and articulate business opportunities and recommend best proactive outcomes for warehouse inventory.Ability to communicate effectively and exhibit good oral and written skills.Ability to plan daily personal time management and long-term strategies through fiscal budget year activities.Here is more information :
