The Strategic Risk Management (SRM) team, within the Risk Management department, plays a key role in shaping WA's enterprise approach to risk oversight and governance. SRM is responsible for 2nd Line oversight and coordination of the firm's : strategic planning, execution, and risk management activities; Risk Appetite Framework and KRI reporting; Large Financial Institution (LFI) readiness efforts; regulatory relations and remediation activities; risk governance and reporting processes; and incentive compensation risk assessments. SRM is also responsible for certain operational (e.g., skills and staffing assessments) and administrative (e.g., CRO communications) activities supporting the Risk Management department.

The summer Internship program runs June through August, with flexible dates available, based on school schedules. We're looking for individuals who are passionate and entrepreneurial, just like our clients. Specifically, we're looking for top-performers interested in pursuing careers in Commercial Banking.

What you'll need :

• Undergraduate students currently enrolled in a related field of study.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
• An interest in working in the Commercial Business Banking industry.
• To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
