Travel RN Job Details – Paris, TX

Location : Paris, TX 75460 – Texas-Oklahoma border, vibrant local culture, scenic campgrounds

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown

Shift : 12 Hour Days (06 : 30-19 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026)

Weekend Requirement : Every Other / As Needed

Call & Float : As Needed

Electronic Health Record : Meditech

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1680

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license eligible to practice in Texas

Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care / Stepdown nursing experience

Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH (must be obtained prior to start)

Ability to provide clinical support to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patient populations

Professional demeanor and strong communication skills

Ability to float to other nursing units as needed

MedSurg experience preferred

PCU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
