This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals requiring intermediate-level monitoring and general medical-surgical support. Key Responsibilities : Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the PCU and Med-Surg units Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry data Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Qualifications : Active RN license in Texas or compact state Minimum of 2 years recent experience in PCU and / or Med-Surg settings BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
