Finance Analyst-Fremont
As a CBRE Finance Analyst, you'll apply advanced cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a complex portfolio of CBRE clients and properties.
This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What You'll Do :
Purchase Orders & InvoicesMonitor Smartsheet PO tracker daily to ensure no requests sit longer than 48 hours without action or proper notesReview and approve POs in myBuy within a 2-hour turnaround whenever possible, ensuring accurate coding and routingTrack invoice statuses (on hold, pending approval / receipt, disputed) and follow up on any item sitting longer than 48 hoursExpense Reports & Team SupportReview team expense reports daily for accurate receipts and codingAnswer ad hoc questions and provide training as neededSend monthly reminders for unsubmitted myWallet expensesInbox & Communication ManagementHelp manage the Outlook inbox to ensure responses within 24 hours and proper coding to site-specific categoriesReporting & ReconciliationRun and review weekly cost review files and submit AP / EX reclasses by month-end deadlinesPerform monthly GL to PeopleSoft reconciliations (2nd week of the month)Run monthly reports for vouchers on hold and unpaid but approved invoices, resolving system errors and follow-through issuesCompile accruals and review corporate GL monthly to determine necessary reclasses (e.g., FU, MO)Tracking & DocumentationMaintain and update internal trackers, including the PO tracker and savings logEnsure new POs are added to trackers and run Taulia open PO reports as neededHelp update and create reference guides to support team consistencyAd Hoc & Leadership SupportStep in during team PTO to process POs and invoices within a 24-hour turnaroundSupport requests from leadership, including reconciliations, metrics, vendor follow-up, and client inquiriesWhat You'll Need :
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.Advanced math skills. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Finance Analyst position is $60,000 annually and the maximum salary is $105,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
