As a member of the Clinical Learning and Development team, our Learning and Development Specialists and Sr. research, design, develop and conduct effective training for Health Care Services clinical and non-clinical staff all in service of creating a person-focused health care experience.

Clinical Learning and Development Specialist

Bachelor's degree in business, education, or health related and current RN

5+ years' experience in training

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Clinical Learning and Development Senior

Bachelor's degree in business, education, or health related and current RN

3+ years' healthcare experience

5+ years' experience in training

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Attributes :

Experienced instructor with ability to adapt to various learning styles and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Skilled in identifying learning needs, developing materials, and designing curriculum using adult learning methods.

Able to analyze and react to problem situations, think clearly under pressure, and maintain a professional image.

Capable of multitasking, prioritizing workload, and working independently to meet business needs.

Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

Knowledgeable in online education techniques and practices, with experience in policy and procedure development.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret policies, make decisions, and communicate complex topics effectively.

What You Will Do at Cambia :

Design and deliver training programs : This may include creating curriculum, developing training materials, and delivering training sessions.

Assess training needs : This may involve conducting training needs assessments, analyzing performance gaps, and identifying areas where employees may need additional support.

Develop training materials : This may include creating presentations, videos, simulations, and interactive activities that support the learning objectives of the training program.

Deliver training sessions : This may involve using a variety of delivery methods, such as in-person training, virtual training, or blended learning.

Evaluate training effectiveness : This may involve collecting feedback from participants, analyzing performance data, and making adjustments to training programs as needed

Required Licenses, Certifications, Registration, Etc.

Must have licensure or certification, in a state or territory of the United States, in a health or human services discipline that allows the professional to conduct an assessment independently as permitted within the scope of practice for the discipline (e.

g. medical vs. behavioral health) and at least 3 years (or full time equivalent) of direct clinical care

  • Must have at least one of the following : Certification as a case manager from the URAC-approved list of certifications;
  • or Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a health or human services-related field (psychiatric RN or Master’s degree in Behavioral Health preferred for behavioral health care management);

or Registered nurse (RN) license (must have a current unrestricted RN license for medical care management)

The expected hiring range for an Clinical Learning and Development Specialist is $74,800 - $101,200 and for a Clinical Learning and Development Senior is $82,500 - $111,600 depending on skills, experience, education, and training;

relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location.

The bonus target is 10%

The current full salary range for this role is $70,000 - $115,000 for a Clinical Learning and Development Specialist, and is $77,000 - $127,000 for a Clinical Learning and Development Senior.
