Civil Engineer

A well-established and growing civil engineering and land development practice is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support a diverse portfolio of commercial, educational, municipal, state, and federally funded infrastructure projects. (Position is Located in Broome County NY)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil/site designs, plans, and technical specifications

• Design grading, drainage, stormwater, erosion control, roadway, and utility systems

• Support permitting, regulatory coordination, and agency reviews

• Perform construction-phase support, inspections, and compliance reviews

• Assist with cost estimating, project scheduling, and value engineering

• Serve as project engineer and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors

• Provide guidance and oversight to junior staff as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of civil engineering design experience

• EIT certification required; preferred or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe

• Proficiency with AutoCAD/MicroStation and Microsoft Office

• Strong communication and project coordination skills

• Valid driver’s license
