Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current ARRT, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
Assignment is in an acute care hospital cath labDaily caseload ranges from 8 to 12 casesProcedures include coronary diagnostic / intervention, peripheral diagnostic / intervention, and permanent pacemakersPatient population primarily includes those with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmiasShift is 4x10 hour days from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PMNo weekend shifts requiredCall is required as part of the assignmentNo floating required within the unitUses Epic EMR and Epic experience is requiredScrubs are provided for Cath Lab staffLocals are accepted for this positionResponsibilities include assisting in diagnostic and interventional heart and vascular procedures as well as permanent pacemaker placementsOrientation consists of 30 hours at the facilityReturning staff must have a 3 month gap and may not live within 50 miles of the facilityFirst-time travelers are acceptedBlock scheduling may be considered upon requestRequested time off must be submitted at time of application and is subject to approvalAll travelers may be expected to float within the state per facility requirementsFree parking is provided on the first day, with assignment parking after orientationRequirements
Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience requiredCurrent ARRT certification, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS required; RCIS not acceptedWilling to consider candidates with a pending Fluoro permit if application has been submittedMust provide at least 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years in a comparable specialtyLicense required if applicableEpic EMR experience requiredBenefits
