HOW YOU WOULD BE SPENDING YOUR TIME AS A CONCEPTUAL ESTIMATOR
The Conceptual Estimator will support and work with preconstruction / business development staff in the review of project plans, requirements and specifications.
The Conceptual Estimator shall perform quantity take-offs, pricing, and bidding of construction projects and have knowledge of construction costs and principles while adhering to Willmeng's quality standards and client satisfaction.

- You have the ability to set conceptual budget with minimum elements create detailed budget without going out to subs
- You like to work within the team that includes the architect, owner, Willmeng ops team to iterate budget as the design progresses
- You have the ability to work without a support team. Willingness to do it all. Do what it takes even if "not their role".
OK getting in to the trenches (it's not beneath them)
You have the ability to tactfully present a budget to client and facilitate the conversations especially when no aligned.
Ability to read a room and deliver message so can be heard by all
- You can conceptualize a budget without reliance on subs which could change after engineers review it but be able to explain to the team why the changes were made
- You work as a team member to do what it takes to meet each and every client deliverable. We have a "Do what it takes" culture
- You multi-task, prioritize, and "Make It Happen" with multiple bids due per week
- You are accurate and manage numerous fronts simultaneously
- You have advanced computer skills with MS Office with proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project)
- You have knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software
- You have knowledge construction costs and principles
- You have knowledge working with OnScreen Take-off, Excel micros, and other estimating software
- We require background checks
