AVP, Claims General Liability
Zurich is currently seeking an AVP to direct and oversee the operations of our Claims General Liability leadership team. We're seeking an inspiring and dynamic leader to guide and support a high-performing team of Managers and Claims Professionals within our General Liability Specialty Team. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee claim operations across Captives, Excess & Surplus, and Direct Markets. This leader will partner with the other AVPs within the line of business to help develop, support and drive key initiatives and strategies. They will also work on National Projects on behalf of the line of business and serve as a subject matter expert to the underwriting team regarding product developments or enhancements to provide support and guidance and ensure compliance with regulatory policies. The successful candidate will coordinate the work activities of the team and has responsibility for performance, development and coaching of staff to maximize contributions and drive employee development and operational improvements. This position has clear and distinct accountability for business results and manages internal and external customer relationships.

At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The proposed salary range for this position is $113,100.00 - $185,100.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
