A company is looking for a Professional Practice Evaluation Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Support and coordinate the medical quality review and professional practice evaluation program
Facilitate the medical staff peer review process and support Medical Staff Quality Committees
Integrate evidence-based practices into daily care delivery to enhance clinical excellence and accountability
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Associates degree holders must obtain a Bachelor's within five years
Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting required
Minimum of two years of experience in quality improvement, patient safety, or peer review required
Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license required in Florida
Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
