Primary Responsibilities

HDR Engineering is looking for a Structural EIT / Inspector to join our National Infrastructure Inspection Team. The Structural EIT / Inspector will be expected to perform local and national dam, hydraulic structure, and bridge inspections and occasional office engineering (design, CADD, analysis). They will also assist the lead inspector in performing inspections and preparing reports in on a regular basis.

In the role of Structural EIT / Inspector, we'll count on you to :

• Participate in local and national dam, hydraulic structure and bridge inspections
• Assist in the preparation of written reports summarizing inspections and findings
• Prepare pre inspection planning tasks including but not limited to site walks, development of health and safety plans, rigging and rescue plans, confined space entry plans, and coordinating with health and safety
• Work in a team environment and independently while challenging yourself to acquire knowledge and experience in engineering
• Support the hydraulic structure design group and other disciplines by applying structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of structural designs
• Perform other duties as needed

The expected compensation range for this position is $75,548.00 - $116,150.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
