JOB SUMMARY:
The Screen Printing Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated (or non-automated) web or sheet fed screen printing equipment.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working knowledge of IPC-620A standards
- Second shift Screen press printing operator with ability to operate equipment.
- Ensures that the highest standards of quality and volume requirements are maintained to meet customer schedules and to accomplish profit.
- Assist the 2nd shift Lead Machine Operator in maintaining a close surveillance over printing operations through review of reports, status meetings, observations and personal contact to assure coordination and integration of workflow, timely production, budgetary conformance, schedules, utilization of personnel, skills, machines, equipment and facilities.
- Engage in Problem solving when machine is not operating correctly and working with Machine Maintenance to resolve issues
- Manufacture material according to customer requirements
- Assist in planning and determining manpower requirements based on forecasts and schedules.
- Support the quality policy, objectives and the quality system requirements.
- Observes all safety rules.
- Other responsibilities as determined by Production Supervisor and 2nd Lead Shift Machine Operator.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Job Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Training Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Able to learn to run a machine
- Ability to learn multiple machines and be flexible.
- Ability to run multiple jobs on multiple machines at the same time without machine error or quality defects
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to follow and give directions
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of appropriate tool use
- Strong communication skills
- Read and speak English fluently
- Basic high school math skills
