The VP, Regional Sales Manager is a proven sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth across the Region. This role is primarily focused on leading, coaching, and developing Business Development Managers to achieve quota, while carrying a small personal quota for strategic opportunities. This is a high-visibility position responsible for overall regional quota attainment, team growth, and the continued expansion the territory.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Leadership & Team Management :
- Own overall revenue growth and quota attainment for the Region
- Lead, coach, and develop Business Development Managers in the Region.
- Set and monitor team performance targets and pipeline metrics
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and performance reviews
- Recruit, onboard, and scale the sales team
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and a high-performance sales culture
Direct Sales (Player-Coach) :
Carry a personal quota to lead from the front and demonstrate sales excellenceSupport reps in complex opportunities and executive-level conversationsPersonally engage with select strategic accounts and high-value prospectsModel advanced consultative selling and negotiation skillsOperational Excellence :
Deliver accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting to the EVP of SalesEnsure CRM data integrity and adherence to sales processesCollaborate with marketing, service delivery, and other cross-functional teams to support territory growthIdentify and address performance gaps through coaching and improvement plansStrategic Execution :
Support territory expansion and market penetration initiativesContribute to regional sales strategies and methodologiesAnalyze market trends and competitive dynamics in the East RegionProvide feedback to leadership on solution positioning and sales strategyRequired Qualifications :
5+ years of B2B sales leadership experience, ideally in IT managed services, MSSP, or technology solutionsTrack record of consistently driving teams to quota attainment and revenue growthPrior success as a quota-carrying sales professional managing complex sales cyclesStrong leadership, coaching, and people development skillsExcellent communication, presentation, and executive relationship-building abilitiesBachelor’s degree or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications :
Experience leading sales teams in the IT services or cybersecurity spaceAdvanced sales methodology training / certifications (Challenger, SPIN, etc.)MBA or other advanced degreeIndustry certifications or recognition for sales leadership excellenceSkills and Competencies :

This position requires regular travel for customer meetings, prospect visits, and team development activities across the Region. Occasional overnight travel may be required for strategic opportunities and training events.
Work is performed in an office environment with frequent customer site visits. Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages and other items, to walk moderate distances, and drive a vehicle for customer meetings and business activities.
