Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Our client, a global automotive supplier, has just created a new position – Maintenance Engineer for their 24 / 7, non-union manufacturing facility located within commuting distance of Lexington, KY. This role is primarily responsible for reliability of manufacturing equipment which includes establishing a predictive maintenance program, sourcing required parts, training maintenance and engineering personnel and adhering to all safety protocols. This is a great opportunity to make this role your own and create value in the Engineering department. This position will generally work Monday – Friday 8 : 00a – 5 : 00p with flexibility based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing particularly complex issues with equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Establish predictive maintenance program
• Manage repair schedules to minimize downtime and disruption
• Collaborate with production teams to enhance operational efficiency
• Document maintenance and repair activities for future reference and compliance
• Manage related projects
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Keep up-to-date with technological advancements in maintenance engineering
• Provide training to staff on equipment maintenance protocols
