As a Construction Coordinator specializing in Utility Infrastructure, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating the construction activities of utility projects.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and oversee construction activities for utility infrastructure projects, including water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater management systems.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all construction activities are completed according to plan and within established timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure construction work adheres to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Review and approve construction documents, including shop drawings, submittals, and change orders.
- Manage procurement and logistics of materials, equipment, and labor, ensuring timely availability and efficient use of resources.
- Address and resolve construction-related issues, conflicts, and discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, permits, and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety on all construction sites.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and final project close-out records.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; relevant experience may be considered instead of degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction coordination or management, with a focus on utility infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction principles, practices, and methods, particularly related to utility infrastructure.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards related to utility construction.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and construction management tools preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing project teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, client meetings, and industry events as required.
