SENIOR DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT - OU-TULSA

The Senior Director of Development - OU-Tulsa reports to the Tulsa Campus Assistant Vice President for Advancement and manages a portfolio of major gift donors ($25,000+) within northeastern Oklahoma to raise funds for the University of Oklahoma. This professional works closely with fellow OU Foundation colleagues as well as faculty, staff and administrative leadership on the OU-Tulsa, OU Health Sciences, OU Health and Norman campuses to develop gift strategies to meet fundraising goals. Performance metrics will be determined annually by the Tulsa Campus AVP for Advancement and Vice President for Advancement in consultation with the Senior Director pursuant to the OU Foundation's annual fundraising goals, the University's funding needs and priorities, and Advancement policies. Bachelor's degree, eight or more years of fundraising experience and a demonstrated track record of significant personal achievement in fundraising showing the successful closing of six- and seven-figure philanthropic gifts required. An advanced degree or professional certification, higher education fundraising experience, fundraising campaign experience, knowledge of planned giving vehicles and Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) designation preferred.
