Job Overview Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist :

Compensation : $275,000 $325,000 / year

Location : Staten Island, NY

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

TAG MedStaffing is hiring an Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in Staten Island, NY with our client. In this full-time role, you will perform psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and create treatment plans for children and adolescents with complex behavioral and mental health conditions. You ll collaborate with therapists, counselors, and families to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while mentoring residents in a supportive outpatient environment.

Responsibilities as the Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist :

• Patient Care : Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing medication management for children and adolescents.
• Treatment Planning : Develop individualized care plans based on each patient s psychiatric and developmental needs.
• Collaboration : Work closely with therapists, families, and care teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered treatment.
• Medication Management : Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, ensuring safe and effective dosing.
• Supervision & Teaching : Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to residents and trainees.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate, timely records in Meditech EMR, meeting all regulatory and quality standards.
