Job Title : Project Controls Coordinator II

Duration : 12 months

Location : Houston, TX

Schedule : Hybrid | In-Office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday), Remote (Wednesday & Friday)

Role Overview :

Focus on providing "Total Control" function on all assigned projects, including :

• Overall project cost management, including forecasting and variance analysis of field and internal project costs.
• Monitoring, reporting, and control services throughout the project lifecycle.
• In-depth analysis of projects, especially from the field control side, to provide insight into current progress, mitigate risks, and exploit opportunities.
• Collaborating with contractors to deliver training and support for EcoSys LEMs (Labor, Equipment, and Materials), ensuring correct rates and estimates.
• Supporting a team of Project Controls Advisors (PCAs) to set up, receive, and attest LEMs.
• Assisting as a dedicated Field Cost Analyst (FCA) resource for high-risk, high-complexity projects.
• Generating regular and ad hoc analysis including graphs, summary tables, and presentations.
• Assisting the Project Engineer / Manager in Project Scope Management by providing insight into scope definition, verification, change control, and financial health of projects.
• Preparing expenditure profiles, workforce histograms, comparative capital cost estimates, and total program monthly forecast summaries.
• Working with internal teams to understand incurred field costs and customers for indirect costs and comparing against budget and monthly forecast values.
• Tracking Key Performance Indicators and collaborating with support groups to improve overall project execution.
• Preparing project status reports with variance analysis and reasoning for Senior and Project Management.
• Forecasting project and construction costs with detailed cost variance analysis.
• Managing project controls for the project lifecycle proactively.
• Preparing high volumes of analysis for project status.
