The BIM Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes. This includes creating and managing 3D models, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Day-to-day tasks involve clash detection, BIM coordination, producing installation drawings, and collaborating with mechanical and general contractors to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and BIM Coordination
- Experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC)
- Knowledge of Architecture and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP)
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Experience with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Tekla
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes
- Ability to stay current with latest trends in the MEP industry
