Job descriptionPerform routine and complex clerical tasks related to civil and juvenile case processing Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in documentation Represent the Clerk of the District Court, carrying out legal requirements and managing all related documents Work with a dedicated team to ensure smooth and efficient court operations Dependable & Detail-Oriented : Able to work with legal documents and handle sensitive information Customer-Focused : Experienced in customer service and can handle challenging situations with professionalism Tech-Savvy : Comfortable typing at least 50 words per minute with accuracy Adaptable : Ready to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment Qualified : You must have at least a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 12 months of related work experience, along with the ability to pass a records check Successful applicants will need to pass the County's pre-employment and drug tests as well as a records check. Kootenai County District Court is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Court Services Clerk II to join our Civil Department. As a sworn Deputy Clerk of Court, you'll perform essential tasks that support the smooth processing of civil and juvenile cases. You'll represent the Clerk of the District Court and contribute to the legal and statutory processes that keep our judicial system running efficiently.
