Job Summary : Provide administrative support for the recruitment team and oversee day-to-day duties to ensure an efficient and safe working environment. The Onboarding Specialist should also have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. The Onboarding specialist will manage onboarding for new hires, volunteers, interns, and clinical affiliate students.
Responsibilities :
- Provide a seamless positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding
- Process all required new hire forms accurately for internal and external applicants to start
- Schedule HR appointments, in conjunction with Occupational Health for new hires to provide onboarding documents
- Provide a high level of customer service to internal / external candidates, hiring managers, and leadership
- Verify all credentials / licenses with candidates
- Conduct background checks SEL, SCR, CHRC and applicable checks as needed
- Perform reference checks
- Establish / build relationships with hiring managers / departments, colleges & universities to assist in recruiting for all facilities
- Assist recruiters with prescreening candidates, setting up interviews and hiring events
- Maintain accurate data in applicant tracking system
- Keep up to date on all Pre-Employment Guidelines adhering to State and Federal Regulations
- Participates in and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements :
Experience : Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to analyze, explain and present data and findings. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with team members from various healthcare departments. Experience with Microsoft Office suite; including Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.Education : Associates Degree Required.
