MOHS MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Position Overview

Apex Skin is a rapidly growing, skincare facility that empowers employees to deliver exceptional patient experiences. Apex MOHS Medical Assistants are responsible for assisting with surgical procedures involving the removal of skin cancers and other skin tumors in a surgical setting as well as administrative tasks. Ideal candidates are certified in Medical Assisting.

This is a full-time, hourly position and will require regular travel to the following Apex Skin locations : Ashtabula, Concord, Hudson, and Mayfield Heights.

Pay :  $17.00 $21.00 per hour plus a monthly travel stipend after 90 days

Qualifications

• Certification in Medical Assisting or Licensed Practical Nurse preferred
• Surgical or MOHS experience preferred
• Experience using an Electronic Medical Records system (EMR)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience taking vital signs
• Current up to date CPR certification
• Must be willing to work with a team and be able to function in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be able to travel to various Apex Skin locations on a regular basis
• Required Tuberculosis testing and Flu vaccination documentation.

Compensation details : 17-21 Hourly Wage
