As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain a secure environment for a prominent financial institution.

Your responsibilities include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide a visible presence and deliver exceptional customer service, assisting visitors and staff with professionalism and care. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat10 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 PMSun10 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor access points and verify the identification of individuals entering and / or exiting the location, following site-specific protocols for financial institutions.
  • Assist with visitor management processes, including logging entries and / or exits and issuing access credentials as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by answering questions and assisting with directions or information as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Document security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities in detailed reports for site management and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Collaborate with on-site staff and management to maintain a secure environment and address access control concerns specific to financial institution operations.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related vulnerabilities within the location and promptly report concerns to appropriate personnel.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
