Overview

Shipside Engineering Manager - BGS San Antonio at Boeing. The Boeing Company is looking for a Production Engineering First Line Leader for KC-135 ship side support located in San Antonio, TX. The position will lead engineering support from Liaison, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering. The manager will establish MRB (Material Review Board) authority within the group. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop real-time solutions to emergent and complex issues, providing hands-on Production Engineering support to the San Antonio Manufacturing Center.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of production engineering activities related to the statement of work to be performed at the San Antonio site
• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary Production Engineering team, responsible for Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering deliverables
• Lead a team responsible for oversight and coordination of technical solutions, processes, and production issues in coordination with Operations, Supplier Quality, Supplier Management, and Program Management
• Applicable and appropriate educational / certification credentials from an accredited institution and / or equivalent experience
