Job Description - Storeroom Attendant
Location : Middletown, PA 17057
Schedule : 3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday, 11 : 00 PM-7 : 30 AM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Training : 1st Shift (8 : 00 AM-4 : 30 PM) for first 1-2 weeks
Position Type : Contractor Onsite (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay Rate : $18.50 / hr
Summary
The Storeroom Attendant is an onsite individual contributor responsible for daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and / or company inventory. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely fulfillment of materials, and a clean, organized storeroom. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently during parts of their shift.

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must present a valid U.S. passport or a certified birth certificate (raised seal) on Day 1
Client-specific background screening required
Completion of onboarding / badging process (details provided separately)
Steel-toe shoes required
Key Responsibilities
Unload, receive, and put away incoming goods, materials, tools, and equipment.
Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies; report issues and document discrepancies.
Sort, label, and store items in designated locations; maintain organized shelving, racks, and bins.
Issue parts and materials to employees at the crib window; maintain accurate records for all issued / returned items.
Enter and maintain inventory data in computerized systems; retrieve information as needed.
Assist with inventory maintenance, cycle counts, and prepare reports.
Request replenishment of inventory through requisitions.
Inspect tools / equipment for wear, damage, or defects; report issues to supervisors.
Maintain perpetual inventory and prepare periodic inventory reports.
Deliver tools or equipment to work locations as needed.
Locate missing, misplaced, or overdue equipment or supplies.
Assist with minor tool servicing, lubrication, or repairs (as needed).
Refill onsite vending machines as required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
3+ months relevant warehouse, storeroom, or material handling experience.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
Experience with loading / unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating instructions, and manuals.
Basic computer skills required; familiarity with MS Office preferred.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and safety-minded.
