    • Summary :
    • The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing high-quality evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, hearing, oral motor, swallowing, feeding, and cognitive disorders. This role involves working closely with children, families, and caregivers to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that promote functional communication, safe feeding, and improved quality of life in home and community settings. The SLP administers prescribed treatments, maintains accurate documentation, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and provides education and support to families. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact on clients' development and well-being.

    • Job Qualifications :
    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
    • Active and valid Texas SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) - preferred
    • Minimum of 1 year experience working with children in clinical, educational, or home-based settings - new graduates completing CFY also welcome to apply
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
    • Reliable transportation, valid auto liability insurance, and valid driver's license
    • CPR certification
    • Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions :
    • Conduct initial speech and language evaluations
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs
    • Deliver speech therapy services in the child's home, focusing on functional, family-centered goals
    • Educate and coach parents / caregivers on strategies to support therapy goals
    • Document treatment sessions, progress reports, and evaluations in a timely and professional manner
    • Maintain compliance with all licensing and documentation standards
    • Collaborate with other professionals (OTs, PTs, physicians, educators) as needed
    • Travel locally to clients' homes
    • Physical Requirements
    • Must be able to travel to and between client homes; reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of therapy materials and equipment.
    • Frequent mobility demands, including sitting on the floor, kneeling, squatting, standing, and transitioning between these positions during therapy sessions.
    • Must be able to sit in child-sized chairs or on the floor for extended periods.
    • Adequate visual and auditory acuity to observe, assess, and engage with pediatric clients effectively.
    • Fine motor skills required for handling therapy tools, writing documentation, and demonstrating speech / language techniques.
    • Comfortable working in a variety of home environments, which may include navigating stairs, uneven surfaces, or tight spaces.
