Job description

Our client, a leader in the tech industry, is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Sales Operations Analyst to join their team. In this role, you'll play a key part in protecting e-commerce operations by investigating and resolving chargeback disputes with speed and precision.

  • Responsibilities :
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (XFN) with teams including Sales Engineering, Data Science, and Operations to gather necessary information and resolve disputes.
  • Manage and resolve chargeback disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Investigate and analyze chargeback disputes to determine their validity and root causes.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to perform deep-dive analysis on transactional and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to contest disputes.
  • Proactively identify potential issues in the chargeback process and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Pull and sanitize data from various sources to conduct comprehensive investigations and derive actionable insights.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Communicate with customers, merchants, and banks to gather information and resolve disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Identify and address any fraudulent activity or patterns of abuse.
  • Requirements / Skills :
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed investigations and data analysis.
  • Experience in e-commerce and a solid understanding of e-commerce flows and the chargeback process.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (XFN) to achieve common goals.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Proficiency in pulling, sanitizing, and analyzing data using tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex findings and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).
  • Preferred Qualifications :
  • Previous experience specifically in chargeback disputes management or fraud prevention within e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with payment processing systems and platforms.
  • Experience using data visualization tools to present insights (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
