Thoracic Surgery Assistant

Thoracic Surgery Assistant needed for West & Midtown clinics in Nashville, TN. Schedule : 7 : 30-5 : 00 Monday-Friday. Experience : 3+ years surgical or specialty medicine including scheduling, precertification, and follow-up.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient examination and treatment, performing clinical duties, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, preparing treatment rooms, performing clerical duties, managing supplies, maintaining a clean environment, documenting provider encounters, and transcribing patient orders.

Requirements : BLS Provider obtained within 1 month, Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 4 months, High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable experience.
